Tradeify: One-time purchase, no activation fee. All sales final (no refunds). Apex Trader Funding: A one-time Performance Account activation fee is due within 7 days of passing.
Fees after you pass
Tradeify says its Growth evaluation is a one-time purchase with no activation fee. Apex charges a one-time Performance Account activation fee that is due within 7 days of passing, on top of the evaluation price shown at checkout.
Deadline and daily loss
Apex gives you 30 days to reach the target; Tradeify has no time limit as long as you place a trade each week. Both pause the day if you hit the daily loss limit rather than failing the account: Tradeify calls it a soft breach, Apex pauses trading for the session.
FAQ
Is Tradeify or Apex cheaper?
Tradeify publishes $99 ($25K), $145 ($50K), $255 ($100K) and $369 ($150K) for its Growth evaluation with no activation fee. Apex shows its evaluation price only at checkout and adds an activation fee after you pass, so compare the total at checkout.
Which has the bigger drawdown?
Tradeify Growth allows $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000 EOD trailing drawdown on $25K–$150K. Apex EOD evaluations allow $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000. At $100K and $150K, Tradeify gives more room.
Is there a time limit?
Apex evaluations must be passed within 30 days. Tradeify has no time limit but asks for at least one trade per week to keep the account active.
Is a prop firm challenge fee a safe way to start trading?
Treat the fee as money you can lose. Most traders do not pass evaluations, funded accounts are usually simulated, and firms can change their rules. Read the firm's own terms before paying and see our risk warning.
