How we compare brokers, prop firms and tools

Where TraderFolio's comparison figures come from, how often they are checked, what a blank cell means, and how listings are ordered.

Where the figures come from

  • Prop-firm fees and rules (challenge price per account size, profit split, maximum drawdown, daily loss limit, payout frequency, platforms) are read from each firm's own website or help centre. Each row links to the pages we used.
  • Broker and product fields (platforms, instruments, minimum deposit, leverage, pricing) come from the listing's structured catalog data, supplied by the vendor or entered by our editors from public sources.
  • We do not copy figures from other review or comparison sites.

Blank means unverified

If we could not confirm a figure from an official source, the cell shows a dash (—). A dash never means zero, free or unlimited. We would rather leave a gap than guess.

How fresh it is

Comparison tables show a "last checked" date. The prop-firm table was last checked on . Firms change prices, promotions and rules often, so always confirm on the firm's site before you pay.

How listings are ordered

  • Comparison tables are not a ranking of who pays out the most or who is "best" for everyone.
  • Featured and sponsored placements are labelled as such.
  • Whether a link earns us a commission does not change the figures shown or the organic order.

Thin pages

Profile pages that do not yet have enough verified information are kept out of search engines until the data is filled in. They stay available on the site.
